Explore Whitby's Natural Beauty on the Scout Trail Along Pringle Creek

The Scout Trail, a gift to the residents of Whitby, invites you to explore and cherish the distinct beauty found within a segment of the Pringle Creek valley lands. This tranquil path is more than just a route for leisurely walks amidst the town's hustle and bustle; it also serves as a platform for educational ventures and community service activities, benefiting both local Scouts and the wider Whitby community, including students from nearby schools.

Located centrally along Whitby's main thoroughfare, Brock Street (Hwy. 12), the trail is easily accessible. Simply head south beyond Taunton Road and Rossland Road, then make a left turn (east) onto Manning Road. Continue past Garden Street, then take a right (south) onto Ribblesdale Drive, where Pringle Creek Public School will be on your right. Follow the road to Bradley Drive, turn right (west), and go one block to reach Pringle Drive, where you turn right again (north). The entrance to the southern trailhead awaits on your left, leading down to Pringle Creek. Parking is available on Pringle Drive for those visiting by car. Read more.
